Beautiful large gemmy Pink Danburite Crystal from Aurora mine, Charcas, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. This is our largest Danburite crystal specimen, with gemmy clarity and sparkling inclusions. It's very uncommon to find large Pink Danburite crystals, especially of this size that are gemmy. Please note, there is a tiny chip on the surface of the crystal, on the back of it, small chips can sometimes occur during mining but its very minor and doesn't take away from the beauty of this gorgeous piece.

Danburite occurs in a variety of colors ranging from colorless and light pink to pastel yellow, light honey and tan. Danburite has a stunning prismatic crystal structure, similar to colorless Topaz. Danburite is primarily classified as a collector's mineral but it can also be faceted into gemstones. The finest quality Danburite has a gemmy transparency and clarity with a glassy (vitreous) luster. Of all the colors, the gemmy light Pink Danburite crystals from the Aurora mine, Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico are the most valuable. Colorless and light pink are excellent alternatives to colorless Diamonds and pink Diamonds. Lower grades of Danburite will be more opaque, lacking luster and the gemmy clarity.
