Beautiful sparkling lavender Spirit Quartz crystal from South Africa. Spirit Quartz, also known as Cactus Quartz, is an uncommon variation of Quartz. As the larger crystals form, hundreds of tiny crystals (druzy) form on the exterior of the main crystals, with only the termination points remaining exposed. Creating exquisite sparkling crystal encrusted Spirit Quartz specimens.
Spirit Quartz is found in shades of lavender, warm amber-citrine colors and white. With richly pigmented lilac specimens being the most rare and highly collectible. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, we love them all! The colors are natural and vary depending on the minerals surrounding the crystal as it formed. Spirit Quartz is found only in the Magaliesberg Mountain region of South Africa.
